Du 20 au 24 avril 2026, le XXe Championnat UEP de précision d’atterrissage en parachutisme s’est déroulé dans la ville d’Alcantarilla, Murcie, Espagne.
L’événement a été organisé par la Fédération nationale des associations de vétérans parachutistes d’Espagne (FENASVPE), qui assurait la présidence exécutive de l’UEP.
Pour sa réalisation, le championnat UEP a été intégré au Championnat national militaire de parachutisme d’Espagne, organisé par la Commission d’éducation physique et des sports de l’Armée de l’air et de l’espace.
Les aéronefs et les installations de l’École militaire de parachutisme ont été utilisés, apportant un soutien total tout au long du championnat. Plus précisément, les sauts ont été effectués depuis deux avions CASA-212 « Aviocar », avec un CASA-235 « Nurtanio » en réserve.
Grâce à une structure organisationnelle exceptionnelle — couvrant la sécurité, le contrôle des mouvements, le soutien médical, la restauration, la gestion des moyens aériens et les zones de déploiement des équipes — et à la gestion complète du championnat au moyen d’une application logicielle expérimentale qui s’est révélée très efficace, un total de sept sauts a été réalisé : un saut d’entraînement et trois manches le 21 avril, suivis de trois autres manches le 22 avril. Le championnat s’est conclu avec six sauts valides, conformément au règlement de l’UEP.
Les conditions météorologiques ont été favorables aux participants, avec un ciel dégagé, des vents calmes et des températures matinales modérées à chaudes. L’après-midi, les vents thermiques se sont intensifiés et aucun saut n’a été effectué.
Huit des dix nations membres de l’UEP ont participé : France, Allemagne, Hongrie, Italie, Pologne, Portugal, Serbie et Espagne. Chaque nation a présenté des équipes de quatre parachutistes, parfois accompagnées d’un chef d’équipe ou d’un chef de délégation. Pour ce championnat, la possibilité pour les nations de fournir des juges de compétition a été introduite; la France et la Serbie ont chacune fourni un juge, intégrés au panel des juges de la compétition.

XX UEP Paratrooper Landing Accuracy Championship
From April 20 to 24, 2026, the XX UEP Paratrooper Landing Accuracy Championship took place in the town of Alcantarilla, Murcia, Spain.
The event was organized by the National Federation of Paratrooper Veterans Associations of Spain (FENASVPE), which held the executive presidency of the UEP.
For its execution, the UEP championship was integrated into the Spanish National Military Parachuting Championship, organized by the Physical Education and Sports Commission of the Air and Space Force.
The aircraft and facilities of the Military Parachuting School were used, providing full support throughout the championship. Specifically, jumps were conducted from two CASA-212 “Aviocar” aircraft, with a CASA-235 “Nurtanio” aircraft on standby.
With an exceptional organizational structure—covering safety, movement control, medical support, catering, air asset management, and deployment areas for the teams—and with the entire championship managed through an experimental software application that proved highly effective, a total of seven jumps were carried out: one training jump and three rounds on April 21, followed by three additional rounds on April 22. The championship concluded with six valid jumps, in accordance with UEP regulations.
Weather conditions were favorable for the participants, with clear skies, calm winds, and moderate to warm morning temperatures. In the afternoons, thermal winds increased, and no jumps were conducted.
Eight of the ten UEP member nations participated: France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, and Spain. Each nation fielded teams of four jumpers, in some cases accompanied by a team leader or delegation head. For this championship, the possibility for nations to provide competition judges was introduced; France and Serbia each contributed one judge, who were integrated into the competition judging panel.
The championship remained highly competitive until the very end and reached a high technical level, both in individual and team classifications, with the final standings as follows:

Les parachutistes ont été hébergés à la résidence militaire du spa d’Archena, située à 25 km d’Alcantarilla, d’où ils se rendaient quotidiennement en bus à la zone de saut. Dans ce lieu emblématique de l’Armée espagnole, ils ont pu se reposer et se détendre en profitant des installations thermales mises à leur disposition.
Après une visite culturelle de la ville de Murcie, suivie de la cérémonie de clôture et de la remise des prix — présidées par le Lieutenant-général, vice-président du Conseil supérieur des sports militaires du ministère espagnol de la Défense — le championnat a été officiellement clôturé, et les équipes sont rentrées dans leurs pays respectifs sans incident.
Profitant de la présence au championnat du président du Conseil international du sport militaire (CISM), principale organisation mondiale dans l’organisation de compétitions militaires, ainsi que du président exécutif de l’UEP, une « lettre d’intention » (LOI) a été signée afin d’explorer conjointement de potentielles collaborations entre les deux organisations dans les domaines de la réglementation, du conseil, de la certification des juges internationaux et de la coopération dans les activités sportives.
Tout au long de l’événement, un fort esprit de camaraderie et de fraternité s’est distingué parmi tous les participants, qui continuent de concourir et de sauter avec le même enthousiasme que durant leur service actif.
Dans son engagement à promouvoir le sport, et en particulier le parachutisme, l’UEP continue d’organiser ce type de championnat, démontrant son importance dans la réalisation des objectifs de l’organisation et dans le rassemblement des vétérans parachutistes de toute l’Europe.
Avec nos félicitations aux vainqueurs et à tous les participants, il ne reste plus qu’à remercier chacun pour ses efforts dans le soutien et la participation à cette compétition, et à espérer se retrouver l’année prochaine en Italie en 2027.

Individual jumpers accompanying the teams also had the opportunity to carry out jumps by filling available slots on the aircraft.
The jumpers were accommodated at the military residence of the Archena spa, located 25 km from Alcantarilla, from where they traveled daily by bus to the drop zone. At this emblematic site of the Spanish Army, they were able to rest and relax, making use of the spa facilities available.
With a cultural visit to the city of Murcia, followed by the closing ceremony and awards presentation—presided over by the Lieutenant General, Vice President of the Higher Council of Military Sports of the Spanish Ministry of Defence—the championship was brought to a close, and the teams returned to their respective countries without incident.
Taking advantage of the presence at the championship of the President of the International Military Sports Council (CISM), the world’s leading organization in the organization of military championships, and the Executive President of the UEP, a “Letter of Intent (LOI)” was signed to jointly explore potential collaboration between both organizations in the areas of regulation, advisory support, certification of international judges, and cooperation in sporting activities.
Throughout the event, a strong spirit of camaraderie and fellowship stood out among all participants, who continue to compete and jump with the same enthusiasm as during their active service.
In its commitment to promoting sport, and especially parachuting, the UEP continues to maintain and organize this type of championship, demonstrating its value in achieving the organization’s goals and bringing together paratrooper veterans from across Europe.
